best man | Sage is York’s big brother. They’ve always been close- both went to Cal Poly, SLO (and overlapped for a year), Sage and Allise hosted York in their living room for a year when they were working on their house in Seattle, and worked together on their new house here in Santa Barbara.

York and Krysta met in college at Cal Poly. York knew she was special when Krysta brought him a cheesecake for his birthday after only knowing him for a few days. They instantly bonded over cooking and creating community with friends.

York and Tara met while teaching in Santa Barbara through friends and quickly became the “junior high couple” their students would gossip about. Never ones to be embarrassed, they have been tearing up empty dance-floors for years.

Greg and York met on a dancefloor and it was an instant friendship. They've gone on many adventures, kiki'd over countless cups of coffee, and supported each other along the way. And of course had long talks about whatever Beyoncé is currently up to.

York's Ring Security & Flower Children | This adventurous lot was brought into York's world via his brother Sage (best man aka best bro-bro) and sister-in-law Allise. York and Jordan's weekly dinners on the compound (where they live with York's parents and grandma) are always a highlight because of the hijinks of these three little ones.

Usherrrrs | The wives! Raquel Hernandez and Angelica Diaz (or in derby speak Lolita Bonita and Pain-N-Diaz) are near and dear to our hearts. We're often texting each other, singing Selena, or complaining about workouts.

best joshy | York first met Josh working at Student Community Services at Cal Poly in SLO. Since then they’ve been best of friends, visiting each other in Mexico at different times in their lives, travelling across the country to see each other, and biking 2500 miles around the North-East United States.

Jordan and Marina would be up to all types of fun growing up as cousins. Wherever Marina went, Jordan was not too far behind, letting their imaginations run wild as they (constantly) joked and found their ways in life.

(matthew reedy) | Jordan and Matthew have been friends since high school rolling around Bakersfield in Matt's vintage Jeep listening to Jack Johnson. Going to rival university’s and rekindling the friendship in adulthood, these two, quite simply have the same philosophy on life...work hard, play hard.

(anil dhurjaty) Jordan and Young (as Jordan likes to call him) met when Jordan was moving Anil out of his home. It was random, Jordan was probably too nice - but it set a great foundation for a healthy friendship. They learned to be adults together, living in the Man Canon with Alex Mink for three years and still turnip from time to time.

Jordan's Flower Queen | Blythe is a gem of a lady, who was basically the fourth roommate to the Man Canon. She is a yoga goddess that can find the positive in any situation even through Jordan's 'Nelly' phase.

Usherrrr | Ginger/Stephanie was one of our (many) unknown connections. York knew her through derby, and Jordan knew her from UCSB, a superb artist in her own regard and we both absolutely love her.

best lady | Jordan and Molly found each other with the help of Melissa Livanos his first year at UCSB. They were out to dinner one night and Jordan wanted hot sauce, which the restaurant did not have, but Molly did in her bag... it's been a wrap ever since. After finding out their birthdays were 5 days apart, they have been celebrating each year of life together ever since.

Being Cousins, Jordan and Robert would get into sticky situations growing up. Both having a love for music and black history they share the same chill vibes of life.

Jordan and Jamie met in the early kickball days. He was the Social Chair and she was ever diligent in winning social points, since then they found a mutual love for planning events and making sure things are organized. Bonding over life’s roller coasters...always over rose.

(alex mink) Jordan's Ring Security | Jordan and Alex met through Molly and Anil in his early twenties. OG's of Team Turnip, they learned to be adults together, living in the Man Canon with Anil Dhurjaty for three years. Every once in a fortnight they can be spotted in the Funk Zone, sippin' on fine wine and disagreeing about chunky vs. smooth peanut butter.
